I am pleased to share with you the wisdom of NCAA Women’s Cross Country and Assistant Track and Field Coach of Duke University, Rhonda Riley.

Rhonda Riley was named the head women's cross country coach and assistant track & field coach in June of 2016. Previous to Duke she had an incredibly successful nine year stint at Vanderbilt. Her primary responsibilities include coaching Duke's middle and long distance runners.

Coach Riley has a passion for recruiting and has turned that passion into success at the top levels of collegiate cross country.

Interview With Edinboro Cross Country Coach

I am pleased to share with you the wisdom of Division 2 Cross Country Coach of Edinboro University, Rick Hammer.

Edinboro Women's Cross Country

This interview is jam packed with great advice for athletes looking at competing at the Division II level and for cross country and track athletes.

Coach Rick Hammer is in his third season at the helm of the Edinboro University Cross Country programs.

Rick Hammer was appointed Edinboro’s men’s and women’s cross country coach in early August 2013. He is teamed with Anne Carlson, who serves as Edinboro’s head track & field coach/director of cross country operations, to oversee Edinboro’s running programs.

Hammer has enjoyed a highly-successful first three seasons at the helm, maintaining Edinboro’s reputation as one of the top NCAA Division II programs in the country. His women have won back-to-back NCAA Division II Atlantic Region titles, and captured their first PSAC crown since 2006 a year ago. For his efforts, Hammer was recognized as the USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year.

Interview With Northwestern College Track and CC Coach

Northwestern College TrackWelcome to Interview #26.

I am pleased to share with you the wisdom of NAIA Cross Country / Track & Field Coach of Northwestern College, Scott Bahrke.

Coach Scott Bahrke is in his fourth year as the Head Cross Country / Track & Field Coach at Northwestern College. During this time, Coach Bahrke’s athletes have earned 46 All-American honors (including one national championship by Karen Ettleman in the women’s heptathlon).

He has coached cross country and track the last 15 years, the first 11 at the high school level.
